Michael Anthony Drury II
A Scoop of Hope honors the generosity of Michael Drury II. Mike struggled with addiction, but unlike many who do, he had an incredible support system. Mike would enter rehab with a whole bag of supplies and leave with nothing. He recognized that some of his co-residents lacked the necessities to thrive in sobriety and would give them the backpack off his back. His big heart inspired the work we do today.
To us, Mike was a son, friend, brother, comedian, and father. To the community, he’s someone whose passing has helped catalyze change in Lancaster County and beyond. A proud father and loving companion, Mike spent time hiking, playing video games, and vacationing in Maine with his family and friends. An avid gym rat, Mike loved “bulking season,” the Philadelphia Eagles, rap music, and ice cream.
